Throwback: 2015 MXGP Of USA At Glen Helen Raceway

In 2015 after wrapping up working my second full season of Supercross & Motocross for GoPro I was asked by them if I could also work the MXGP of USA at Glen Helen Raceway on September 20th.

My answer was obviously yes. One, GH is only about 45 minutes from my house & two, I wanted to capture the GoPro onboard footage you see below!

There is always a certain energy & hype (+arguments about who’s better) around the MXGP riders & the Motocross racers here in the U.S. battling it out on the same track that I didn’t want to miss.

I remember it being a typical super hot day at Glen Helen with Jessy Nelson dominating the 250 class & letting all the boys know he wasn’t taking this “off season” race lightly.

He & his teammate Shane Mcelrath both looked to be motivated to show everyone the racers here in the U.S. are the best on the planet.

Speaking of Shane, he was also on the gas with 3-2 finshes for 2nd overall. He was quickest in qualifying as well.

Jessy Found A New Level This Day!

I Was Pushing Shane Mcelrath 70 & Jessy Nelson 79 Buttons All Day. This Shot I Captured By Setting Up A GoPro On The Ground Set in 0.5 Second Photo Time-lapse.
After I Set Up The GoPro To Capture The Photo Above I Ran Down To The “Hole Shot” Line To Grab This Shot.

GoPro Onboard: Chance HYMAS Training for LL2020 | Secret Sand Track Next to SNAKE River In IDAHO

After working the final rounds of the 2020 Supercross Series we headed 2 hours north to Rupert Idaho to stay with 2010 250 West Sx Champ Jake Weimer and get a taste of the Idaho Moto Life.

Jake trains a few local up and coming racers, one being Team Green Kawasaki stand out Chance Hymas.

We linked up with Chance at a secret sand track in the middle of the Idaho desert where he laid down lap after lap, then made a super technical figure 8 track on top of a sand dune that he rode and rode.

Guess that explains why he went on to win a Championship at Lorettas last year!

I see this kid doing BIG things in the near future. – JB

Going All In On The 2 Things We Love the Most…Moto Mentoring & Creating Content!

One Of The Reasons For Starting WesJet Entertainment Was To Offer “Moto Mentoring” + Video Of The Sessions For Studying & Social Media Exposure.

Working With Companies Like GoPro & Leatt Protectives We Learned Just How Important It Is For Athletes To Be Posting On Their Social Media Accounts On A Regular Basis.

I’ve Always Enjoyed Helping Other Racers But It Has Always Been A Side Job To What I Was Contracted To Do For GoPro As Well As Leatt Protectives Who I was Also Contracted By For 4-5 Years To Create Content & Handle Rider Support.

It Wasn’t Until My Good Buddy Jake Weimer Asked Me To Be One Of The Coaches At His “Camp 12” Last Year In 2020 That I Realized How Much I Really Enjoyed & Missed Working With Riders & Would Get Back To It Once The Time Is Right.

& The Time Is Right!

So We’re Super Happy To Announce That Jarred Browne Is Back To Making “Moto Mentoring” A Big Focus & Offering Packages For Moto Mentoring, Video, & Social Media Account Management In Southern California.

Choose One Or All The Above!

Flashback- The RECOVERY Process | Cole Martinez | Part 2 | FIRST RIDE BACK | 2018 for LEATT Protectives

Our Boy Cole Martinez had a crash at the 2018 Daytona Supercross that left him sidelined with a badly broken leg that required some serious hardware.

Before the crash, Cole was turning heads as he had just stepped up to the premiere class and hadn’t missed a main event since doing so.

In Part 1 we checked in with Cole over the healing months of his injury and got to find out all the details on the crash, what injuries he sustained, how the decision to keep racing wasn’t an easy one, and much more.

In Part 2 it is the big first day back on the bike & Cole starts GoPro’n his day first thing in the AM starting with his warm up routine, packing his gear bag, & loading up for the track, all with his toddler watching on.

I met up with him at Pala Raceway to catch up with him and grab some more content for this piece!

Shout out to Cole for snagging some quality shots for this video, & to Leatt Protectives for the opportunity!

How Venezuela’s LORENZO LOCURCIO came to America | Produced for Leatt Protectives | 2019

Last year after working the ATL Sx for both GoPro & Leatt, I took a short flight to Orlando instead of flying home to Southern California.

I spent the week leading into the Daytona Supercross at Moto Sandbox & Bakers Factory in Florida, shooting with the Athletes Leatt Protectives had on their roster that season.

One of which was Venezuela’s Lorenzo Locurcio.

Lorenzo & his Family are some of the nicest people you’ll ever meet, & after hearing his story of their journey to the U.S. from his native Homeland, you’ll understand why.

You know what they say. “Dreams only work, if you do.”

One of our favorite pieces with one of our favorite riders to work with.

Hitting the Hills w/ THE FAM to Millencolin’s “No Cigar”

Rain Usually Mean One Thing……

It Doesn’t Get Much Better Than This.

Riders/Drivers:

Jarred Browne

Adrian Feliciano

Kevin Stanton

Joey Mac

Paul Browne

Music: Millencolin “No Cigar”

Lyrics: Tell us where you’re from What you want to become And we’ll say if you’re OK.

Where did you go to school Right answer and you’re cool.

Yeah, you’re the kid the whole day. You got a sticker in your face Information about the case So you know your potential.

Don’t think you can extend. Don’t think you can extend, just comprehend. But I don’t wanna hear it.

No it’s more than I accept.

‘Cause, I don’t care where I belong no more.

What we share or not I will ignore.

I will ignore. We will shut you out.

We’ll put you in doubt if you think that you’re special.

We’ll tell you who you are.

We’ll tell you that you’re close but no cigar.

But, I don’t wanna hear it (I don’t wanna hear it) No it’s more than I accept.

‘Cause I don’t care where I belong no more.

What we share or not I will ignore.

And I won’t waste my time fitting in. ‘Cause I don’t think contrast is a sin.

What they say is… Go back where you came from.

They’ll tell you that but, I don’t wanna hear.

No, I don’t wanna hear. No, I don’t wanna hear it. No, it’s more than I accept.

‘Cause I don’t care where I belong no more. What we share or not I will ignore.

And I won’t waste my time fitting in. ‘Cause I don’t think contrast is a sin. No, it’s not a sin.

Throwback: In The Moment w/ Leatt Protectives Cole Martinez (ATL SX 2018)

I’ll be heading to Atlanta tomorrow for round 9 of the 2020 Monster Energy Supercross Series to do my thing for GoPro and Leatt Protectives so let’s take another trip down memory lane with this video I put together 2 years ago from ATL SX with at the time, Leatt’s Cole Martinez.

This video really shows off the Privateer’s journey and what it takes for some of these guys to make it race to race. Enjoy.

Cole is a good and fun dude to be around!
